Season’s Greetings from the people behind the technology.

The usual hectic pace here at SSCS has started to slow now that the Holidays are almost upon us. Many of our colleagues are preparing for the the Season’s approach, taking a break from their routine whether its last-minute shopping, visiting family, or getting the house ready for visitors.

The season is filled with good memories about our customers, our industry partners, and our SSCS colleagues. They’ve all played a role in our 2017 success. We’re thankful for all of them.

We also consider ourselves pretty fortunate to be working in an industry that’s a lot of fun. Convenience stores are part of the global zeitgeist, aligned closely enough with pop culture in all its forms that there always seems to be something interesting to write about. Stores are also going through an evolution that is helping the collective industry make an impact in market categories like Quick Serve and Fast Casual, going upscale in the process. With every passing year, more and more stores transform themselves into retail palaces. The general public’s view has of convenience retail has never been more favorable.

It’s a good time to be in the industry; it’s a good time to be at SSCS.
