Service Station Computer Systems, Inc. (SSCS) announces the release of the Computerized Daily Book™ (CDB) 7.4.14, the latest version of SSCS’s flagship back office system for C-stores, auto repair facilities, and fuel retailers.

This version of the CDB introduces many new enhancements designed to help petroleum retailers increase profitability, leading with an improved ability to align with the way the industry’s leading point-of-sale (POS) systems handle combo and mix and match promotions. For the technically inclined, the new POS promotion options supported are Amount Off Each Item Group and Percent Off Each Item Group.

Item Groups, a building block of promotions in the CDB, can likewise be group transferred across multiple sites and group deleted, as well. When viewing promotions in a list, the user now has the option to filter that list to display only those promotions that are currently active.

Other key features introduced in CDB 7.4.14 include the addition of a Days Remaining sort to the Inventory Days Remaining report that shows how many days of stock are left on an item or items based on their historical usage. The ability to post Fuel Delivery invoices and Paidouts to a future shift (already available for sales invoices) has also been added.

Additional 7.4.14 highlights are as follows:

  • The ability to copy multiple vendor records across multiple sites.
  • The ability to copy multiple customer records across multiple sites
